- I got the new pan in from Original Parts Group, but it looks very similiar to the one we already had. I guess the pan might not be the answer. We're going to pull the engine in the next couple of weeks to see what kind of clearance the new mounts will give us, but it might not be enough.

- Amazing! The quarter-inch that the mounts gave us was all we needed for our clearance. This means that everything should be right and can get back going on this. We put the proper frame brackets in (this was a huge pain because the cross member is not very accessible), and now the engine is back in. We had to mount the headers with the engine out because there was no way to fit them past the block and the steering linkage on the driver's side. Now that we got this issue solved, we can hopefully move onto get the rest of the accessories put on and getting it fired up.
- Of course the one day in a year and a half that we actually do work on the car, I go and forget my camera. I wasn't going to let that stop us though, but I'll try to remember next time...
