- I know I sound like a broken record, but not much has happened lately with the car. However, as my two years of owning this car approaches (July 15th), I am really wanting to get the thing up and running...i.e. complete the engine. This is my goal: get the car drivable by the car's two year birthday.

- Started working again on the car. Like I said before we are trying to get the engine running, so the first order was to reattach the transmission so we could attach the starter. The problem was that we didn't want to take the engine back out (we didn't have a hoist this time), so we had to jack the car up on blocks and bench press the tranny into place. It would have been a lot easier if we had the correct alignment tool, but by moving the cross-member and fiddlin with it enough, we got it to mate to the flywheel. Next week, we'll bolt on all the other stuff (intake, carb, and headers) and actually fire it up...after we buy a few neccessary parts this week.
