2006 St. Albert Open II

Welcome to the page for this year's St. Albert Open Badminton Tournament. We are calling it the 2006 Open II, since we held last season's tournament in 2006 as well. Our club has a great history of hosting successful Open tournaments, and we are planning nothing less for this year's event.

Tournament Information

Date: November 25-26, 2006
Place: Sturgeon Composite High School
Events: Mixed doubles, Women's doubles and singles, Mens' doubles and singles
Time: Starting at 9AM on Saturday and 10AM on Sunday. See entry form for details for individual events.
Format: Three matches per event contingent on number of entries
Cost: $15 for first event; $5 for second event; $5 for third event

Miscellaneous Information

We will be using nylon Mavis 300 shuttles which will be provided to participants at no charge
All entries will recieve a free t-shirt (sizes subject to availability).

How Do I Enter?
First, you can download the entry form in the following formats:

Then you can print and fill the form out and mail it along with your payment (cheques payable to St. Albert Recreation Badminton Club) to the following address:

The other option is to preregister by contacting Joe by phone at (780) 458-8141, or by email at jfernandes61@hotmail.com. You can then bring the completed registration form and payment the day of the tournament.

Entries will be accepted until 10:00PM Wednesday November 22nd.
