2005-2006 Season Lookback

Overview
I know I'm writing in this October, so it's a bit hard to remember last season ;). It was a good year with a lot of extra social activities. We had Sundays at Sturgeon which people seemed to enjoy a lot, and our year end BBQ was a great success and it had a new venue -- the Dutch Candian Club -- which everyone seemed to really like (despite those weird pool tables). We maintained our membership numbers and had a good turn out for EBDA interclub where we weren't able to defend our title, but had a lot of fun trying.

Club Tournament Results
We had our usual two tournaments this year. We had a great open tournament held in February and we had a tremendous turnout of nearly 100 people. A lot of thanks has to go out to Stan Graham and Naeem Haque for organizing and promoting the tourney. It was definitely a great success that reflected really well on our club throughout all of EBDA. You can view the results here. We also had our annual members spring tournament, but unfortunately did not get a really good turnout. We only held 3 of the 5 events, so hopefully next year we can get all 5 events rolling:

About the Executive
This year's executive is pretty much the same, with only one position changing. As awalys we appreciate any comments or feedback you have about the way the club is being run...remember, this is all of yours' club.
