2004-2005 Season Lookback

Overview
Well, we're done for another year at the SABC. It was a great year with record membership of 50 single memberships and 15 family memberships. We had great times and games on the court as well as off. A lot of fun was had at the two pizza nights the club sponsored, the two tournaments the club had, and the Christmas and wrapup party. We also have to congratulate our Interclub team, captained by Adam Luv, who captured this years EDBA Interclub trophy. Great job to all of those who represented our club.

A huge thanks again has to go out to Joe Fernandes and his family for hosting our year end BBQ at his house. Joe was not even a member of our club this year, yet he still opened up his home to our members. That shows what great people Joe and his wife are, and what type of people our members are. We had a record turnout for the BBQ, and it couldn't have gone better.

We have a few changes in line for next year, as we are considering adding a new date on Sundays at Sturgeon Composite High School (in Namao). Stayed tuned for more details about that. We also have some new executives coming in with past experience running the club, so that is very exciting.

About the Executive
This year we have a couple of new people on the executive with most having previous experience running the club. We hope to have a great year building on the initiatives put forth by last years executive.

Our new executive will be:

President Weng Chee
Vice President Kerrie Daly
Secretary Milos Hajek
Treasurer / Web-guy Matt Budd
Tournament Director Naeem Haque

As always, we are here to make the club better for you guys, the players. If you have any suggestions, feel free to approach someone on the executive and we will try to address it as best we can.

It was a great year last year and we look forward to making this one even better. Have a great summer and we'll see you all next September!
