2002-2003 Season Lookback

Overview
Well, it was a great year for our badminton club. We had a lot of people come out and a lot of great badminton; as well as good times off the courts. We also launched our new website which we hope was useful to everyone. We have a few things coming up the pipe for next year that we'd like you to know about:
  1. Please contact Naeeme if you're interested in summer badminton. We need to know how many are interested. Stay tuned to the website for information on when and if we start playing during the summer.
  2. We need volunteers for next November to work the EDBA casino night...again contact Naeeme.

Message From Executive
The Year End BBQ was great. A beautiful sunny day and good friends with whom to share the wonderful meal. Special thanks go to the Chef Ron Pomeroy for preparing the shish-ka-bobs and the steaks, cooked to perfection. Thanks to our host Joe Fernandes and his family for opening their home to club once again this year.

Have a great and safe summer and we look forward to seeing you in the fall.

Message From the Web-guy
I'm glad we finally got this website up and running. We decided our club needed a site back at the Christmas party, and after a month and half we got something up and operational (a pretty short time, all things considering). Hopefully it makes everything a bit more convenient for you guys, and provides a centralized location for sharing information.

Next season I hope to make the site even better. A change in design layout, and a possible mailing list are just some of the features I'm thinking about adding. I'd like to thank Henry Shin for his feedback on the site, and I would encourage any of you to send me feedback at
webmaster@stalbertbadmintonclub.com. The biggest challenge in designing a website is knowing what you guys want it to do...what would make this site for useful for you.

But thanks for all the input I've recieved so far, and hopefully we can streamline things and make them better for next year (or for the summer).
